PURPOSE OF THIS MINISTRY: To enhance the climate, atmosphere, and mood of the liturgical celebration.
WHAT DOES THIS MINISTRY DO?
Prepares the environment for worship to reflect the liturgical season.
WHAT IS EXPECTED OF A MEMBER? A member of the Liturgical Art and Environment Committee is responsible for ensuring the parish celebrates all forms of liturgy with fullness, beauty, grace, and active participation.
WHAT SPECIFIC TALENTS, SKILLS, ETC., MUST A MEMBER OF THIS MINISTRY NEED?
Building, painting, arranging floral decorations, lifting, climbing, sewing, caring for flowers/plants during the liturgical season, and attention to detail.
WHAT IS THE TIME COMMITMENT? There may be many levels of commitment. Each season requires at least 4 to 6 hours to clean and decorate the environment.
ARE THERE REGULAR MEETINGS? WHEN? Not at this time.
WHAT ELSE DO PROSPECTIVE MEMBERS NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THIS MINISTRY This ministry also takes care of the exterior and members are needed to maintain a beautiful and inviting outdoor space as well.
